About Adventure Outdoors

In 2007, Accompany Outdoors merged with Wilderness Escape Outdoor Adventures. Wanting to maintain an individual identity, the AO label stayed the same with the minor name change to Adventure Outdoors. The initial benefit of the merge was a greater pool of physical resources, however this has now widened to an overall review and improvement of both companies field operations, systems and procedures.

Our company is the largest provider of outdoor programs and experiences to schools, youth groups, special needs populations, adults and businesses in South Australia. We have been in operation since 1990, taking groups overseas to Russia and Nepal, and conducting many expeditions throughout South Australia, and Victoria.

Our aim is to improve the relationship that people have with the outdoors, and enjoy a range of recreational and educational experiences. We utilise outdoor settings as a means of escape from modern technological stresses; to gain better understanding of ourselves; improve our relationships with others; and find enjoyment associating within groups away from our structured surroundings.
